From Down the Hallway, From SC, I've always enjoyed scary stories about the unknown and

supernatural, but I don't scare easily.

I'm a skeptic who believes there is a rational scientific explanation for anything, even

if we don't fully understand what that explanation is yet.

I understand the human mind can cause us to mistake objects for other things, and it

is not much of a stretch to believe that anyone can be tricked into seeing or hearing things

that aren't actually there.

I want to believe in the supernatural though, because it makes the world a more interesting,

mysterious place, and I have had one experience where my skeptical beliefs were challenged.
