Hey everyone, welcome to kill me now with Judy Gold. I'm your host Judy Gold and it's a new year.

Although I have to say I really find January 1st to be the most ridiculous holiday. I want to wish

to love her, my best friend, my home health aid, Elisa, a happy, happy birthday.

Her birthday, New Year's Eve, her father called her a tax deduction.

How Jewie is that? And I just want to wish her very, very, very happy birthday.

We've been through, you know, we've been through a lot every year, every year,

but this year's been, um, yeah, it's been interesting. I mean yes I had my surgery and she had to deal with the, you know, she's not a, you know, she doesn't want to nurse me, but she showed up and she did a great job so I want to thank her for that. But also it's

been a very trying time as you know for the Jews and we're both Jews and proud of it.

So, glum, blum, blum.

Happy birthday, Elisa.

As you know this week is part two of my live podcast with Modi,

which was just, it was fun.

It was exactly what we needed for the non-Jews listening.

It's really important for I think a lot of us J's to be in a room with each other, to feel safe, to feel not like

outsiders, to feel like, oh God, what do they think you know because we're all it's sort of

that we're all going through the same thing we might have different opinions

about it, but you cannot deny the anti-Semitism,

and you cannot deny that we are dealing with what, as I have mentioned before, what our parents and grandparents

and great-grandparents and great-great-grandparents and go back every generation
