So I was negotiating one of my book deals and the vice president of publishing, I got one meeting with.

And I was trying to pitch him on my book idea.

He had like two or three Yankee kind of memorabilia stuff.

And I made my pitch.

So I did some background on him.

Found a baseball signed by Derek Jeter.

Wrapped it up, put it on his desk early in the morning.

And I said, I hope we can play ball together.
