Welcome to a slob comes clean, the podcast. I am Danny K. White. I share my personal deslobification

0:06.1

process as I figure out ways to keep my own home under control. I share the truth about cleaning

0:10.9

and organizing strategies that actually work in real life for real people, people who don't love

0:15.9

cleaning and organizing. Thanks for joining me today. This is podcast number 431. And I think I'm going to call it

0:21.9

Stretch Thin, pick a skillet. So I started thinking about this. We have one of our very favorite

0:28.2

people in the world who is currently in the hospital. And it's been really, really challenging

0:36.0

and really tough. But catching up and figuring out, you know, hearing

0:40.3

what is going on and all that, there has been a lot of swelling. Okay. And the swelling also means

0:51.4

that there's a lot of pain, right? And it just had me thinking about, like,

0:58.1

that idea of the pain is worse when the skin is stretched too thin, not to get medical

1:07.4

or anything because I don't know anything about medical stuff, but you know what I mean, right?

1:21.8

1:32.1

than if it's not stretched too thin by it having too much in it, right?

1:39.1

So we have had a lot going on just the reality of life.

1:44.9

I mean, it's nothing bad.

1:46.4

A lot of people I know, though, are stretched really thin with things that they have

1:50.3

going on in their lives that are very difficult.

1:54.2

And it just makes everything feel more difficult.

2:00.2

So it just makes me think about that. Like when there's too much going on,

2:04.6

something that might not otherwise break that's normally plenty strong enough, but if it is

2:11.0

stretched too thin, it means it could break at any time. Right. Like, you know, and it's that

2:16.5

whole concept of this. I think about for Like, you know, and it's that whole concept of this.
