On the creative journey it's easy to get lost but don't worry you'll lift off

sometimes you just need a creative pep talk.

The creative journey is just obstacle after obstacle. You know, we give all of this attention to these

obstacles that are on our path in front of us stopping us from getting what we want in our

creative lives you know the haters the critics the gatekeepers the system man like there's so many different things

that can stop us from pursuing the creative self that we want to be.

But I wonder sometimes if we give too much emphasis

on those outer obstacles

when the biggest obstacle you face is yourself.

It is an internal obstacle.

How do you navigate the biggest problem that you have as a creator,

which is your own psyche.

You know I look at the data around and this you know you can look at a bunch of

different sources I don't know how exact this is but it feels pretty accurate to me.

Like 80% of people feel like they have a book within them.

15% actually start writing that book,

and only 30 out of a thousand 3% finish that book and then you know
