Riley who is a holistic OBGYN returns. The last episode he did with us was

415, so 15 episodes ago. We're going to get into, among other things, the

history of Midwifery. From my point of view, when we departed ideas of

healing within nature, ideas of what midwives brought to the table, We were destroying true healing paths and we all know what replaced it.

Sometime around the 30s, most, you know, talking with Fortune, he knew these places, he knew knew the holistic what would you say it was like a hospital

tied to a major university so back in the day these guys weren't just coming out MDs they were

also holistics not the right word, they were

naturopaths or whatever the right word would be and basically making, you know, like spagiric remedies as part of it and things like this. And that went away

very quickly sometime around the 1930s with what we now call Rockefeller Medicine.

And I'll throw it on the table. I mean, when you go to a doctor today, do you even have the expectation of being healed? And I think some people

might say yes for certain things. I mean, we know if we've got a terrible infection, probably

there's a drug that will stop the infection. It does a lot more than just the infection, but anyhow we're going to jump in, welcome Jason.
