here to talk about being invested in terms of the stock market in your money in terms of learning in terms of

being invested in your life dad and yeah being mindful being mindful about what is happening in your life and your plans and your future and all of that is very difficult to do

and sobering up as to what it's really going to take it.

Yeah, it's not the fun, the most fun thing to think about, that's for sure.

Unless you have something good to look forward to.

Like, people always say things like oh change is hard but nobody ever

says anything about change if it's something you wanted to have happen. People only

talk about change if it's something that you didn't want to have happen.

So what we're talking about is hopefully the stuff you want to have happen.

At least I hope that for me.

And so what we were talking about last time was the, just how scary it is to be sort of starting

out on this, I don't know, this new educational journey of like this investing world and

and not being confident in my own research.

And thinking about putting real money in that you really don't want to lose.

I think you said, you know, if I lost half of my retirement, it would be this horrendous terrible

thing.

And you would.

Well, yeah, I mean, but first off, it's not like, you know, you're taking your children across the

Plains in 1848, you get attacked by Comanches, you know. It's not on that level of awful. I probably wouldn't do that either.

But I just want to keep it in perspective. I'm not Pa Ingalls. No, fair enough. Those guys were crazy. He was crazy. They were out of their

freaking minds. Oh my gosh I reread those books like a year ago because I just
