0:31.2	And the 80s, and we're getting our groove on on 54th Street.
0:35.3	Studio 54, you've all heard of it, the most famous disco,
0:39.4	though it's not really a conventional New York City disco.
0:43.7	What I mean by that is, the idea of disco is like the one in Saturday Night Fever,
0:47.2	which was called 2001 Odyssey, which was, you know, for us normal folk to go,
0:52.7	you know, in our bell bottoms and do our dancing.
0:55.2	It wasn't like Paradise Garage, which was like a gigantic club,
0:58.6	where just anyone could get in.
1:00.8	Studio 54 was an extravaganza.
1:04.2	It was basically like gossip pages that came to life.
1:08.3	It encapsulates all the decadence of the 1970s in New York City.
1:12.1	The music is kind of beside the point.
