| 1:18.0 | Now where is Northport, Florida? We're in the Tampa St. Pete area, Northport is not on my radar so where is it? |
| 1:27.0 | It's between here and Fort Myers, it's Sarasota County, everybody knows Sarasota, Sarasota County, southern Sarasota |
| 1:35.0 | And can you tell us a little bit about that jurisdiction about Northport? Sure |
| 1:39.0 | What's it like how many people? It's exploding, it's blowing up populations rising, there's about 70,000 people who live there |
| 1:47.0 | I think it's the second or third largest city in terms of land mass in the state, so 110 square miles, 70,000 people |
| 1:55.0 | I don't want to say rural but certainly not urban |
| 1:59.0 | Well LA is about 550 square miles and I think there's 10 million people there |

| 2:09.0 | And what kind of sort of crime do you generally experience in Northport? |
| 2:13.0 | We have every crime you can imagine, obviously not to scale if some places like LA for example or even St. Pete |
| 2:21.0 | But you name it, we typically have a couple murders a year, a lot of drug type crimes, just like everybody nowadays |
| 2:29.0 | Okay, so what's your job? I'm a criminal investigation detective, I investigate everything you can imagine, burglary, robbery, homicide, rape, everything |
| 2:39.0 | How long have you been doing it? I've been in investigations for about three years but I've been on the job for 10 |
