I was freelancing while working at AARP in Washington, DC. Somehow someone from dolly's

camp got my email and asked if someone at the magazine had time to speak to dolly about

her upcoming television movies when the one about the coat of many colors was coming on NBC.

I wanted that interview so bad, so I lied, just totally lied, and said I had all kinds of

experience interviewing people. So then an editor at the magazine would just let me speak to her.
