You know, guys getting in on this year.

You know, Clint Eastwood famously never yells action on set, because as an actor himself, he has the theory that's saying action,

you know, it's such a harsh, tough word. It breaks actors' internal concentration. So what he

typically does is say something like when you're ready, you know, that's actually true.

And so is this a parable about how instead of saying, okay, we're rolling or something

like that, you just need to have the mics running when I come back into the studio?

I guess it started that way, but then I was also thinking, like, if I were a famous

film director, you see, when he says it, it makes sense to me.

And I think he's right.

Action.

That's really harsh. That would... Excuse me. I am the Clint Eastwood of podcasting.

That would spook the horses. But then if I were a film director and I decided to do it like he does, I think everyone would look at me and say, what do you think you're Clint Eastwood?

Like, you're ripping off Clint Eastwood? So I think I would probably just say action like anyone.
