What do you do when you have clutter piles because there is no furniture or container?

I have two cold sellers in my basement and none of these spaces has anything in them but the things I need to put away. I don't know what

to get or how to pick things out to store my stuff. Everything is just on the

floor. Plenty of space though.

Kids love to discover new things with their mouths. But some things aren't safe.
