Summary

Skin cancer, melanoma, sunburn, how to prevent them all? Hey Beauties, on this week’s Five Minute Friday, we discuss the things you do that can lead to skin cancer to celebrate Melanoma Monday, the first Monday in May to raise awareness about skin cancer.  Many people are diagnosed with skin cancer due to excessive exposure to UV radiation. Skin cancer like melanoma is deadly when it occurs because it spreads to other organ parts in your body. It is essential to protect your skin by wearing mineral sunscreen, keeping yourself shaded, and not utilizing tanning beds that expose you more to UV light. Dr. Kay recommends using her favorite sunscreens: KD Mineral Glow Sun Defense and my KD Aqua Shield Moisturizer! The Mineral Glow Sun Defense is a 100% physical sunscreen, water-resistant, and has a sheet tint perfect for wearing under the makeup. The Aqua Shield protects your skin from aging and free radicals. Are you doing any activity that could lead to skin cancer? Listen to find out more!
