Hello and welcome to another episode of the Mark Groves podcast.

First, I want to share with you that I've missed you.

0:11.2

And what I mean by that is that it feels like a long time since I've had a regulated,

0:18.5

deeply intimate episode with you,

0:22.2

that I walk you through some of the revelations I've had,

0:26.5

and I like the word revelation because it correlates to the word reveal.

0:30.2

So to reveal things, you know, that I've been through,

0:34.1

things that I'm letting go of, things that I'm embracing,

0:37.0

and in hopes that it offers letting go of, things that I'm embracing, in hopes that

1:22.7

walls and big lists of what someone needs to be to be in our life and sometimes those lists are just

1:30.4

ways of avoiding closeness and I think we know when that's true we can just ask ourselves are

1:36.8

my standards walls sometimes they are and that's by design you know design to not let people close because we haven't learned how to discern who to let in and also how to separate someone else's behavior from what we believe and think about ourselves.

1:53.9

And that's a great act of revolution to say I won't let the circumstances of my life determine my self-worth, but I'll let the circumstances

2:01.9
