📜 TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Psalm 11
In the Lord I take refuge;
how can you say to my soul,
“Flee like a bird to your mountain,
2 for behold, the wicked bend the bow;
they have fitted their arrow to the string
to shoot in the dark at the upright in heart;
3 if the foundations are destroyed,
what can the righteous do?”[a]
4 The Lord is in his holy temple;
the Lord's throne is in heaven;
his eyes see, his eyelids test the children of man.
5 The Lord tests the righteous,
but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.
6 Let him rain coals on the wicked;
fire and sulfur and a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.
7 For the Lord is righteous;
he loves righteous deeds;
the upright shall behold his face.

| 0:50.0 | And God is both of those things. |

| 1:05.1 | own experience and the tension is that we wonder if God does righteousness all the time, and that is all he does, then where is he and what |
| 1:17.7 | is he doing when these unrighteous circumstances are happening? |
| 1:23.7 | That's a fair question, isn't it? |
| 1:26.3 | We're going to be looking at Psalm Chapter 11 today |
| 1:29.7 | because this chapter lays out for us what it looks like and what it means for God to be righteous. |
| 1:37.0 | And I think it's going to give us a little bit of insight into what's happening in those circumstances when unrighteous things are happening |
| 1:45.2 | in the world around this or in our own lives. |
