So, Ian, happy Friday afternoon, which is when we're recording this week's For the Many.

I've just looked at my list and said, Rwanda Bill, I've sort of slightly already forgotten what happened there.

Is that because it was a massively overstated potential defeat for the government, which in fact, as we thought, they managed to avoid.

No, I think it's because you're getting old.

And it's Christmas and I've got lots of things.

I'm a woman, therefore I have lots of responsibilities in the run after Christmas.

Unlike you, who when I said to you this

morning, are you ready for Christmas? You went, no, not really. The key question being, is John

ready for your Christmas? Well, that is the key question and the answer is no, because we're

having a simple Christmas this year. We're staying in Kent and we've got our friend

Jenny and Dan and his family coming around on Christmas Day, but that won't be till later on.

We haven't got any Christmas decorations up or anything or the tree. So I have tried to get myself

into the Christmas spirit though because when I've been working this week, I've been using my Christmas playlist on my phone.

And I've just put it on random shuffle.

And there's quite a lot of songs on it, which I think, well, why are they on that playlist?

They're not even Christmas-y.

But I think it's because they're on a Christmas-related album.

So I've got one,

have you heard of a South African group called Sounds of Blackness? No. Well, they did a,

they had one hit in the 1990s and they did a Christmas album. But shall we say South African Christmas doesn't necessarily equate to British Christmas, I don't think, because
