My name is Dan Schreiber, I am sitting here with Anatishinsky, Andrew Hunter Murray, and

James Harkin.

And once again we have gathered around the microphones with our four favourite facts

from the last seven days and in no particular order here we go.

Starting with fact number one and that is Andy.

My fact is that if you took all the hedges in Britain and laid them end to end they would

stretch to the moon and most of the way back.

What a knock.

What a crappy ending to that.

How far back.

Basically figures vary about the exact length but it would definitely get you all the way

there and it would definitely not get you all the way back.

All the alien sheep that you are kind of herding into this gap between the earth and the

moon they'd be able to escape from that last little gap.

I don't think they would because there's one layer of hedging solidly between the two.

Yeah, but the thing is with fetuses you need them on both sides of a field.

Yes, what I stupidly imagined is a sort of double row of hedging that runs out half way

back but you don't actually, you don't need that.

And basically the UK has about 700,000 kilometres of hedges.

Some people say there are only about 500,000 kilometres of hedges so the figures do vary but

...
