study for disease conditions or review disease conditions when they have shared characteristics,

but not. It's kind of like a compare and contrast situation. So I use this method a lot when I'm looking

at things that are kind of the same but different. Like, for example, hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism.

They're both thyroid conditions, so they're the same in that regard, but they're different

because one is

hypo, one is hyper.

Addison's and Cushing's disease, that's another one.

They're both related to cortisol, but one is because of not enough, one is because of too

much.
