Welcome to episode number 425 of the Huntsback Country podcast.

Today's episode is definitely going to be very different than what we normally do.

Back on episode 411, we had John Zambro from the Lifetime Athlete Join us and we talked

about hunting with health for a lifetime.

We covered topics of training and nutrition and just really self-care as you become a more

aging hunter and how to, as the title implies, hunt with more health for a lifetime.

So that you can hopefully continue hunting and enjoying the backcountry for decades and

decades.

I know that that's what I want to do and that episode was helpful for me and that.

After that show, I basically stayed in touch with John.

He offered to help me a little bit prepare for my sheep hunt specifically because I was

having some issues with my knee.

And I did some virtual consults with John and we looked at some movement patterns and

different movements and exercises and stretches that may help me with my knee.

And I really became aware of how much John actually knows and how helpful he is at

explaining things at an easy level and truly feel that's working with John helped me

have such a successful sheep hunt with minimal pain and maximum capability.

So one I just want to thank John again publicly because I truly feel that what he helped

me with made a big difference.

But also in that time, since we recorded the first podcast with John, we joined him on

his show, Stephen I did.
