Hello Katie Floyd. I miss you. I just saw you a week or two ago. Now we're back to this thing where we're sitting

at desks talking to microphones I know it'll be a whole other year I think probably

before we we get together again but but I'm excited we we have a great show today. We are talking to gosh I don't even know what kind of kind of title to give Mike. He is a

podcaster. He's a writer. He's a screencaster. He's an all-around kind of tech and productivity guru

So we want to welcome Mike Schmitz to the show. Thanks. I'm excited to be here. Although I feel the word guru is a little bit of a lofty title.

I always wonder about this and I wonder how to do it myself like when people ask you so you know

what do you do which is kind of the standard you you know, cocktail party talk.

I was like, hmm, well, you know.

Well, Dave and I got it easy because we just said,

we're lawyers, it's fine, yeah.

Oh, no, you never say that.

Never, never, never, never.

I always say I'm a writer. Well, think it's boring and so then they just move on very quickly

and you're like okay yes goodbye walk away no they always like when they found a little if they found a lawyer they got a problem they want me to solve for them.

That's just some area of law I've never practiced before every time.

So I just, I'm a writer.
