Hey there. You are watching or listening to the Sister Circle podcast. I'm your host,

0:05.6

Crystal Evans Hurst. Sometimes you get me and a guest, a friend, a sister or a brother

0:11.4

who joins me on the podcast. Sometimes you just get me. And today is one of those days.

0:22.5

So let's talk a little bit about how you cannot waste your time.

0:28.2

So I emailed, sent an email a few weeks ago, and if you're not on my email list,

0:32.8

you should be, because I normally share all of the things with my email list first,

0:37.3

because there's too many things to keep up with. So I make sure that I put it all in there.

0:42.5

But I shared recently that time is usually not my friend. I have to work really, really hard

0:48.7

to be on time. It's not because I don't care about people's time. It's not because I don't move

1:12.0

because I am rushing to a flight or rushing to get to church on time, or looking at my watch and

1:17.4

saying, I can't believe that it's already such and such a time. I have been struggling with time

1:22.4

for as long as I can remember. My family assumes I'm going to be late. My daughter believes that I'm

1:28.4

ADD. She said, because all of the things that you do in your life point to that, and one of the signs

1:33.1

of people who have a million things going on and who are able to operate at a high level is that

1:39.1

they just don't have a good pulse on time. I hate struggling with time. And even when I try to set

1:47.5

my alarm earlier or get up earlier or give myself more room, I still end up somehow thinking I

1:53.9

have more time than I really do. It is a thing for my life, and I know it. It's just something I will

2:00.0

always have to work on because I'm not naturally wired to leave large amounts of space for me to get

2:06.1

things done. And I'm optimistic about what else I can do with my time. However, here's what I don't like.
