| 0:45.0 | And now this horrific war that is happening in Ukraine, and especially when your heart is open, you feel it a lot. |
| 0:54.0 | So first of all, I just want to acknowledge your heart for feeling. |
| 0:59.0 | And also congratulate you for keeping your heart open enough to feel. |
| 1:05.0 | Because in an often confusing and cruel world, that is such a difficult thing to do. |
| 1:13.0 | But it's really our greatest work. |
| 1:15.0 | It's why we're alive here as human beings to feel it all. |
| 1:21.0 | I remember hearing once that the definition of bliss is actually to feel an emotion in its entirety. |
| 1:31.0 | So rather than trying to be happy all the time to let yourself feel and acknowledge the sadness when it is present, the anger when it is present. |
| 1:44.0 | And then writing that wave and letting yourself feel what is underneath that and even seeing the compassion of how beautiful is it that I can feel for someone else that I'm able to empathize and connect with another being that seems separate for me but really is a part of me. |
| 2:06.0 | And I'm sending so much love to anyone affected by this horrific war and any war around the world. |
| 2:14.0 | My parents had to flee their country of Iran because of war, the Iran Iraq war in 1980s. |
| 2:21.0 | And it created massive trauma for them, which was passed along. |
