Well, a federal judge threw cold water on the President's energy dominance

agenda in a ruling late Tuesday. District Judge Rudolph Contreras and

Obama appointee said the Interior Department

failed to sufficiently account for the climate impact of its oil and gas leasing

plans in Western states thus violating the National Environmental Policy Act.

The judge's ruling hinged on his view that greenhouse gas emissions are, in fact, driving climate

change and said the administration's failure to take that quote-unquote fact into account gave the public

and insufficient understanding of environmental impacts.

The Interior Department will now have to redo their analysis in accordance with the ruling.
