Attention shoppers dead cast top five in five four three two. Okay, it's our dead cast top five this week. It's our top five highlights for walking dead season 10 episode 18 find me. What do you think about this one? What do you think I thought about this episode? I'm interested to know if you what you think I'll think is right.

That's a good question. I'm not sure I think it could go either way. I know we've talked about it being kind of cool that Darryl has not had a romantic partner all this time. And you seemed on board with that if I remember right. Yeah, I yeah, I feel on hate this episode. Like I'm just being there for this like from the start. I don't know. I've not had this like got kind of negative reaction to it.

So no, which I'm, you know, I might just be in a bad mood. I'm not sure. But I've intrigued to talk about it with you. Okay, well, this will be a good one because we're going to play a good cut bad cop. But this time we haven't done that in a while seems like it's about a year or so. Yeah, because at first, you know, there was a part of me that was like, oh, they're going there. It was kind of something special about Darryl that they didn't go there. But also, I don't want to

think of myself as the kind of person that's wishing for someone never to find love. You know, I think ultimately on a human level, if someone finds love, I'm going to be happy for them. So I'm happy for Darryl. It turns it into at least what I thought on first watch more of a typical kind of a romance story. You know, it felt like a little movie that we've seen a million times where the couple sort of pretends not to like each other or their standoffers are first, but they end up together. Which is fine. I mean, it was a

good one. It was well done for that. But then the more I thought about it, the more I actually love the episode and found deeper themes and was really touched by it. And and it was because it was one of those that I couldn't quite figure out. Couldn't figure something out. And so it kept playing in my mind. And I actually woke up at like 5 a.m. this morning. Oh, I think it just figured something out about that episode. And it made me like it even more. So ultimately, I actually really like it a lot.

Something I meant to look up before we started was who wrote this. And I've just looked up who the writer was. And it's Nicole Marante Matthews and her other two episodes are we are the end of the world, which was alpha and beta's kind of origin story and walk with us, which I think was the disgusting toilet trench sex episode.

So I'm intrigued because those are two quite to quite two handers. There's a lot of sort of romantic slash male female tension going on in those episodes. So it's interesting to me that it's the same right here for all three.

I mean, yeah, they shows do that sometimes. I don't know if that's what they did here, but they'll have a stable of writers and certain writers have certain strengths like on last.

Kitsits and Horowitz often wrote the early episodes because they had a knack for his character and for writing the funny cute episodes. So maybe it's something like that. I don't know.

It's like that with directors to hey, there's a what is it? Suboxonex the guy in Game of Thrones.

Oh, yeah, for battles big battles. Yeah. And he's actually one of the showrunners for the upcoming House of the Dragon, I believe.

Oh, that's pretty cool.

Yeah. All right. I'm I'm geared up for some good cut bad cop action.

I'll try and I'm going to try and see some positive things. I really liked the colors and the visuals of the flashbacks.

I thought the kind of autumnal colors and the slightly brighter kind of almost yellowy light was really cool.

So it's like your essay was horrible, but the handwriting was really nice.
