Okay. Well, I am delighted this morning to have with me David Kim, who is a committed Christian,

but he is also the concertmaster of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and we're going to talk a lot more about his faith and his life in this high-level world of music. But I want to

start by just thinking about the resurrection.

Yesterday was Easter resurrection Sunday.

And I was thinking about how this morning, how Paul says, if Christ wasn't raised,

our faith is in vain.

And we are of all people most miserable that there just is no Christianity worth living

if there isn't an empty tomb.

And as I was thinking about that, I was thinking about what Paul writes in Ephesians 1.

Ephesians 1 is this great explanation of the gospel.

And then Paul turns and praise.

And I want to read that portion.

It says, for this reason, because I have heard of your

faith in the Lord Jesus and you love toward all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you,

remembering you my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, may give you a
