1:05.8	And you may hear these referred to as the five Ws of post-op fever. And they are wind, water, walking, wound, wonder drug.
1:17.2	Okay? So what exactly do these mean? For wind, we're looking at lungs. We're looking at the patient
1:24.6	waking up from surgery, not taking deep breaths, and basically getting
1:30.1	adlecticists and potentially even pneumonia. So post-op fever related to lungs, super, super
1:36.2	common. Something you can do is get your patient up, get them moving, get them using
1:40.9	that incentive spirometer. The next W of post-op fever is water, and that refers to UTIs.
1:49.3	UTIs can occur in a post-operative setting because patients may have had a catheter
1:55.4	utilized during surgery.
