our series of listener stories with listeners of the podcast, just like you. We're doing before

and after the hunt segments, right now we're talking all about the before the hunt stories

of listeners and then later this fall we'll get those same folks back on the podcast to tell

the story of how the hunt went, what they learned and more. Today our guest is Logan and

he's actually taking his sister on her very first backpack archery mule deer hunt. His sister

has some limited kind of casual experience hunting, which you'll hear about, but Logan throughout

the idea to her, hey pick up a bow, come join me, let's go backpack hunting. So this will be her first

kind of real backcountry experience. I wanted to talk with Logan about his perspective on getting

someone newer into hunting or at least hunting in a new way or at a new level. So in this before

the hunt episode it's just myself and Logan kind of talking about how this story came to be,

how he's been helping his sister prepare for the hunt and much more, and then after this hunt

we'll get Logan and his sister back on the show to hear all about how it went. So this is a great

I appreciate it Mark. I've been a, I can't say a long time listener but I've tried to be caught up
