You've made it to part five of the Well series.

Today we're going to talk about becoming a student of wealth, but before we do,

Chad Himes, tell us where we've already been.

All right, Ben, we're continuing our wealth building series. We've already talked about the reality check and the retirement check, and then we talked about saving like crazy.

Now we're on to the next part part which is becoming a student of wealth. You think

that's one of the key things in us being able to build wealth is that we have to be a

student of it. Talk more about that for us. You know, Jim Roan said that formal education will make

you a living. Self education will make you a fortune. When I interviewed David Goggins, he made a comment to me.

He said, Ben, there's nobody coming to save you.

Mm-hmm.

And that shook me for years since David and I had that first conversation of there's nobody coming to save me and get me prepared for retirement.

There's nobody coming to save me and help me change my expenses.

There's nobody coming to say, hey, I'm going to help you increase your income.

Right, there's nobody coming to save me.

Because of that, I have to become my own student of wealth.

In college they didn't talk about money.

Nope.
