Summary

Alisa and Natasha both have kids in the teen years, and it’s a very interesting time for parents. You start to see how some of the things you did well as a parent in the younger years are bearing fruit and feel a sense of gratitude (and relief!). But you also start to see how the things that you maybe didn’t do as well are bearing some of their own less-than-desirable fruit. So, parenting teens is certainly a time for reflection. In today’s episode, Alisa and Natasha share what they feel are three of their biggest parenting failures specifically as it relates to discipleship…as well as three of their biggest successes.

your kids spiritual lives in some amazing ways and not see the immediate or

may still bear incredible fruit in areas that totally surprise you. And that's

because what you do is just one factor in parenting. Your kids are unique

people and of course God is doing his own work. So when

1:35.3

we share this episode of successes and failures, these are just some things that we've

seen more direct relationships between what we've personally done or failed to do and maybe some of the things

1:44.4

that we're noticing in our kids lives. So we hope that both the bad and the good

may be helpful to you and we'd encourage you to do your own parenting inventory too.

Ask yourself what would I say are the

three best things our family is doing to disciple our kids and what are three things

that maybe we really need to do more of. So before we confess our failures and celebrate some
