The jazz were terrific and looked as though they're on their way to a seven game win streak heading to the break believing that they could come back tightness screws and make a championship run.

And instead they leave Los Angeles after six awful minutes of basketball breathing life into LeBron and Westbrook and quite frankly had to break reminded of all the things that are wrong in this season and where they're not as good and all the

sports that they have it's a terrible turn of events but it's the reality I think of where the jazz sit right now that last night is a rude reminder of the first half of the season and it really was in those six minutes just about everything that's been not quite the same as it was a year ago with this team.

And that's too bad the 41st 42 minutes were brilliant and they're worth talking about because they're a reminder of what this team is capable of so let's start there then we'll dig into the six minutes and then in the final part of the show i'm literally going to walk through the six minutes and just try to figure out what went wrong is it small ball defense.

Was it Rudy getting switched on the brown was it hero ball what was wrong with the jazz in the final six minutes but if you walk through the start of this game the jazz do a lot of things really really well so they fall behind 11 nothing which is not you know kind of fits into maybe if we're really being honest it's three terrible minutes 39 good minutes and six horrendous minutes that end this game but they fall behind.

11 nothing and then they just show actually some resiliency and some fight and they get back into it and they get rolling and we're tied at the end of one but you can feel the game is completely in the jazz side of things because.

You know they were down 11 nothing the Lakers came out hit a bunch of shots and then from that point on the jazz outscore the Lakers 27 to 16 Donovan's brilliant yes 15 boy on's got eight like they're playing pretty well.

They don't have a bunch of assists but you're not going to get a bunch of assists in a game where the Lakers are switching everything defensively and the jazz were able to move the ball the only guy who looks off at that point Rudy plays just five minutes he doesn't look great and Mike's over four and Mike looks exhausted.

Mike carried this franchise throughout all of January and he looks totally exhausted he did the other night where's only basket was that of a.

Lobbed it go bear that doesn't go in the second quarter Donovan's equally is brilliant and maybe in retrospect Donovan was just carrying us again not a lot of assists four assists on 11 field goals but they're switching almost everything the jazz have seen the switch more than any team in the NBA at this point of the season.
