So a lot of us grew up thinking that wealth was meant for other people.

Maybe they got a big inheritance.

Maybe they make a lot of money at work.

Maybe they built a business that made them tons of money or they were in the right place

It's hard for you to see how building wealth can be possible for you.

At least that's what I thought very early on.

I come from a family where both of my parents are the first to do many, many things, including the first to go to grade school, the first go to high school, the first to go to college.

And upon getting their advanced degrees, they came out with expectations to support

extended family, which still happens today. So while we were okay, we were financially stable

for most of my childhood. We were not wealthy. Both of my parents grew up from, came from

backgrounds of poverty.

It was hard for me to imagine being wealthy or having a lot of money to spare just because, because I didn't see that.

But one thing I've learned and one thing I want you to understand too that I'm going to share is that building wealth is not about luck.

It's not about getting the inheritance or making millions at your

job or in your business. It's not about being in the right place at the right time. I mean,
