Welcome to Gilmore Guys, I'm Kevin, where the Gilmore Guys and before we started the episode proper today we just wanted to do

another sort of special announcement in regards to our live shows in Philadelphia and Washington DC next month.

Some people, some listeners may have seen on Facebook and Twitter and Instagram already but we have moved the dates.

The Philadelphia show is now going to be on Sunday, August 23rd and the Washington DC show is going to be on Saturday, August 22nd.

So, making the decision was pretty tough. What do you want to talk about a little bit, what happened?

So, I got really out of the blue an opportunity to do something that takes place the week of those shows.

It was a really cool riding gig that wasn't even an option to pass out.

I thought about it but at the same time I was kind of like if I pass this up.

Don't shoot your career in the foot.

I was also just like if I pass this up will I secretly resent the podcast?

Yeah, no. I didn't want to do that.

But I also, so I was like, I don't think me skipping this is an option and I also was like, if I skip Gilmore guys, what will we do?

It's not fair to have you go out there alone.

That would be hilarious though.

That would be hilarious.

But also just this weird thing of every being like we paid money to be here.

Yeah. It's nice to see you Kevin but you're talking to nobody.

And then we considered getting a guest host and like having someone else completely take my place.

We did. We made a list of people and we talked about it.

And there were some good options and...
