Every business has typically a standard contract for their provision of services or goods.

Whether you're selling a good or a service, you're going to have a standard contract that says,

here's what I provide, here's what you pay me, and here's the terms of how we work together.

You should have your lawyer look at that standard contract and provision of services.

Now, you might modify that for particular customers or a product or service you're providing,

but kind of your

standard template that's used every day in your business that is relied upon for you to get paid or not, you should have a lawyer involved in making sure that it's that it's tight for you, that it protects you, because let's be honest, most of your customers are just going to sign whatever agreement you send. So make sure it's got the terms in there that outline how you really want to operate, how you want to collect fees and how your business runs. So have that reviewed by lawyer.

I'm just saying give your attorney a budget. Say, I need an hour with you. I'm going to talk about my contracts. Here's my service mix or product mix. Can you go review the contract? How much time do you need, oh, you need two hours, fine. Then let's get back on the phone, follow up, go through it,

and be a part of the process. So if you feel like you're overwhelmed financially, bankruptcy is not a bad thing. Now, there is a caveat. If you call a bankruptcy attorney and go, hey, I don't know if I want to claim bankruptcy, but I don't want free advice. I'll pay you for a half hour or an hour. I need to know my options. Would that be

fair? I don't want you to just recommend bankruptcy, but I want to pay for a half hour to an hour

to look at my options. I think you've got a pretty good shot at getting some decent advice.
