This is episode number 417.

In today's episode we have a bit of an unscripted chat between myself and one of you guys, a listener

of the show.

Eli had wrote in at some points several months ago and asked really many questions about

the logistics of traveling for out-of-state hunts.

Some of the topics included things like is it better to fly or drive, how do you get

meat back, or other certain things you need to know about traveling with weapons, and really

just a lot of questions around those topics.

And I thought it would be great to do an episode on it and really just chat with Eli, kind

of unscripted, answer those questions, but really see where else that conversation takes us.

And so it was just one of those things where the email he sent me raised some great questions,

but instead of just covering it, I wanted to have the interaction with him.

So imagine that this podcast is just me and a listener.

Just chatting through things, kind of informally, but covering different topics related to traveling

out-of-state for hunts.

We clearly didn't answer every single question.

I'm not the expert on every single aspect of this topic, but I've traveled out-of-state

for many, many hunts at this point, flying, driving, lower 48 up in Alaska.

And so I just really shared Eli off the cuff some of what I learned regarding the questions

that he had.

So you're basically peering in on a conversation that Eli and I had around these topics.
