Thanks for joining me today. This is podcast number 416 and I am talking to Mike

Willen Smith who is the author of several books that you may have heard of before such as Cozy

Minimalist Home and all sorts of other things but she has a new book coming out and

it's called House Rules and I had had Mike Willen on the last time she had a book come out.

It's been a couple of years now.

And it is one of those episodes that people refer to in talking to me again and again and again.

So she is the queen of decorating. I mean lots of people out there decorate. She is the queen.

The way that she talks about it makes so much sense to me and it makes so much

sense to so many of you right like in our kindred spirits group somebody will

say something and somebody will say hey have you heard the episode with

Michael and Smith that Dana did talking about decorating because she thinks and

speaks and explains things in a way that really makes sense to my brain.

It's one of the reasons that she and I get along so well is because she's always like we look at things in similar ways okay but she

does the decorating and explains it in a way that actually makes sense to me and

that is just something I do not feel epped at meaning I feel inept at a lot of times, but the way she says it makes

sense.

So this book is called House Rules.
