Today I'm so excited to bring to the show Amanda Vestry.

Amanda is a professional runner for Brooks. She's a USATF National 6K Road champion.

And she just ran her debut marathon at the TCS New York City Marathon, where she finished

ninth overall and she ran 2.2540.

In this episode, we dig into everything, her build for the marathon, her days before what

the race felt like, what she did after, and where she goes from here.

We also just get to know about Amanda,

where she grew up and how she got into the sport.

Amanda, you are a marathoner. How does it be? Wow. That's the first time someone said that to me.

So yeah, I am a marathoner. And a dang fast one. So I'm going to be honest.

Like I was doing my research and I thought it was the fifth fastest time.

Then I reached out to both Pete, your coach, who was just on C-Taloran.

And I reached out to Josh and Josh Koch, your agent was like, no, it's the fourth fastest.

I've heard.

Yeah.

I didn't know that until a little bit after the race.
