So in today's webinar, we will discuss how to identify and address the characteristics

of an anxiety disorder in students, and we will introduce practical strategies that parents

and educators can use year round. Leading today's presentation is Beverly Holden Johns.

Beverly is an author and learning and behavior consultant. She has had more than 30 years

of experience in public schools, working with students with learning disabilities and

emotional behavioral disorders. She was a professional fellow at McMurray College,

and a recipient of the 2000 Outstanding Leadership Award from the Council for Exceptional

Children. Beverly is the author or co-author of 23 books in the field of special education,

including co-author of the Seminole College textbook, Learning Disabilities and Related

Disabilities, and it's now in its 13th edition. She is the lead author of the book Working

with Students who have anxiety, creative connections, and practical strategies. She currently serves

on the board of directors of the Learning Disabilities Association of America, and is the
