During the subsequent years he completed ​his Obesity Medicine training and certification – then began a uniquely impactful trajectory of academic research and clinical practice.   He has served on numerous national and international committees, as an invited editor for multiple peer-reviewed journals, a council member for the true health initiative, and has published many scientific papers.
