Welcome to the happiness podcast. I'm Dr. Robert Puff. If we go to a bar one

0:09.4

Friday night and have too many drinks and instead of taking Uber or a lift home we decide to drive home and then we get in an accident and hurt someone.

0:18.0

It's understandable what we did and there's consequences now that we have to face because we made

0:24.7

some very bad choices at night. But what happens when we aren't the person that

0:30.0

0:36.8

and we're in a lot of pain and we don't even know if we'll be able to walk again.

1:28.0

really make good choices throughout our life,

1:31.0

and then in our midlife we get cancer or even have a heart attack. What happens here?

1:37.0

Once we've lived long enough we're going to see stories like this.

Stories were very good people,

1:44.4

end up having tragic things happen to them.

1:47.6

If we've lived long enough, we know

1:50.7

this happens to people, perhaps ourselves, but definitely to other people, where it seems

1:56.5

like bad things do happen to good people.

1:59.5

So the question is this, what am I to do when bad things are happening to me right now

2:06.0

and it isn't fair.

2:08.0
