Greetings Earthlings. As promised I'm coming to you with a little extra content

largely because I figure you're sitting around with nothing to do and I'm

sitting around with nothing to do. We all have lots of things to do but you know

what I mean. The energy is weird. So I thought why not get some, make some

progress on this idea I've had for podcasts called What Makes This Book. Great.

So essentially what's going to happen is I'm going to read you a story and then

I'm going to unpack it for you. At least unpack it the way it looks to me. Now I

don't want anyone to get confused. I'm not saying there's only one way to read

a story or there's only you know one set of insights that a piece of literature

can bring to you. This is just what I see and I'll be reading you some of my

favorite pieces of literature. I'm not going to read whole novels but I will

read short stories, I'll read poetry, I'll read excerpts from novels, even essays

whatever. Anything that just seems to me to be a great piece of writing. The

point is to bring that to you to show you something I love and then explain to

you why I love it. The whole idea is based on or sort of inspired by Rick

Biotto's YouTube channel What Makes This Song Great. If you haven't checked that

out, definitely check him out. He's fantastic at this. In fact I even have a

another project I'll probably be doing here in the next few days where I want

to explain why I love what Rick Biotto does so much and I think I'm going to

call that What Makes This Song Great. It's a little meta. Might be a little
