Carmen Jaycee is no shy wallflower, although she describes herself as an introvert. Her hard-hitting commentary on race, culture, and her diagnoses of the dysfunctions in the black community is frank, which some would label as provocative and others would label as common sense and obvious.

For someone who really began in earnest on social media only in February 2025, the attractive commentator and host of the Conscious Culture podcast is blowing up and taking no prisoners. She gratefully acknowledges the role played by Candace Owens in her interest in the culture wars with a particular focus on seeing this through the lens of racial politics and identity, but with her own brand of direct articulation of a conflict few want to talk about candidly.

If you like unapologetically Christian content, join the True North movement: www.patrickcoffin.media.

Carmen’s rapid rise on YouTube as a bold, outspoken black conservative.
Why this conversation matters: faith, culture, and the taboo around race.
Brief background: upbringing, education, faith journey.
How and why she launched her YouTube channel.
The moment (massive backlash from a video she did on “the sistahhood” of black women) she realized the power of speaking the truth in love.
Common sense vs. ideological narratives about race.
Carmen’s phrase: “the sisterhood” — black women who, culturally, can be their own worst enemies.
How destructive habits and cultural expectations of the black community keep many trapped.
Why the Left benefits from keeping it untouchable.
How silence keeps wounds from healing.

For leadership in the courage to name truths that most won’t touch, pay attention to Carmen Jaycee. She’s going to be huge as time goes on.
