With each new school year comes the same shared goal to foster an effective learning environment for students for students with ADHD, this may mean understanding and accommodating neuro divergent learning styles, emphasizing strengths and exploring interests, all of which requires open communication between caregivers and teachers.

Leading today's presentation is Cindy Goldrich. Cindy is a mental health counselor, ADHD certified clinical service provider and teacher trainer. As an ADHD specialist, she supports parents, educators and other professionals in addressing the impact of ADHD and executive functioning on learning, motivation and behavior.

Cindy received her master of education in counseling psychology from Columbia University Teachers College and her ADHD coach certification from the Institute for Certified ADHD professionals.

She has trained with Dr. Edward Hollowell and Dr. Ross Green. Cindy is a recognized keynote speaker and provides professional development for school districts and other professional organizations worldwide, addressing how ADHD and executive function challenges affect children and how to help boost behavior and performance in school and at home.

She's also the author of eight keys for parenting children with ADHD, a book recognized for providing parents, educators and therapists with a practical, easy to read guide for addressing challenging kids and also author of ADHD, executive function and behavior in the classroom.
