Today we begin Marty's series on Josea with the help of El Grover Fricks, considering a framework we can use to approach a passage with a fresh lens.

Well, we're in seasoned session 9, we've got a new rhythm, we've got a new groove. We've kind of figured ourselves out for now.

We've got these co-hosts. We've all got a little series.

And I've got a sore throat, so I might not even say much.

Yeah, we all just kind of sit down every season and ask ourselves together as a team what are the things that are kind of on the front

burners of our what it whether it's our research or things we're working on or things that just

won't leave us alone and what do we want to do a series about I still had so what was it two

years ago two sessions ago at least I was doing a bunch of work in my own library

through the profits and I had two prophets that rose to the surface and just I don't know I think I'm always prayerfully when I'm doing that kind of research. I'm just prayerfully listening for, this one doesn't hit me, that one doesn't hit me,

but this one seems to kind of come together for whatever reason,

whether it's the content I'm looking at or.

And there were two prophets one of them was

Isaiah so we did that last session and the other one for whatever reason that just

came together in my mind was Josea and so that's the last one that I have from my last little research

project so I'm assuming that I'm going to try to point myself towards the New Testament

in the future but we shall. I like the idea of Jose

not leaving you alone and just like heckling you as you choose to do
