Our guest today is Rick Wilbur.

He's the author of novels such as The Cold Road and Alien Morning

and short story collections such as The Toulucers and Where Garage Seal awaits and other baseball stories.

He's also the author of several non-fiction books, including My Father's Game, Life, Death, and Baseball,

which explores his relationship with his father, Major League Catcher Del Wilbur.

Rick is also one of the administrators of the Dell Magazine's Award for Undergraduate Science Fiction

and Fantasy, and he currently teaches in the Low Residency MFA program at Western Colorado University.
