Hey everyone, welcome to Kill Me Now with Judy Gold. I'm your host Judy Gold and this

week and next week we have my live interview from the just for laughs festival in Montreal with

Genie Asheray and it is such a great interview, you know interviewing someone in person and not

on the Zoom or the Riverside, whatever I record on. It's just a completely different experience.

Although I do enjoy my interviews via Riverside because I can interview anyone from anywhere,

any place, but you know just being in the room with someone and reading their body language and

just getting comfortable and deep and it was just great and the audience was great and they were

constantly there was a guy in the in the front who was like every time I forgot to ring a bell

or he thought the bell should be wrong, he would make a like a gesture like ding ding ding and

you'll hear it in the interview it's so funny because Gina really her mother was such a Jewish

mother in so many ways and yet not a Jewish mother so it was just really fun and I'm a big fan of

hers and I'm so proud of her success but you know what a journey what a journey and a lot of really

important issues we talked about a lot of important issues which are still very prominent in our

society right now notably racism so I think you're gonna love it I think you're gonna love it

a lot of good energy what else did I have to tell you I am still in Provincetown until September

when I started performing here in the great town of Provincetown in 1992 so anyway that I know I

because I'm really funny this year I'm really funny and old what else did I have to tell you I hate

Trump and that whole indictment was such a buzzkill literally here's my impression of the
