First let's do a little spring cleaning and clear up some questions on the debt ceiling

and interest rates.

The debt ceiling problem, which is just a cute way of saying that the government is

refusing to approve funding for laws and programs it created, has not gone away.

Make no mistake about it, the issue is a partisan one.

These want to reduce future debt by cutting government spending in discretionary areas like

education and canceling a lot of green energy tax breaks.

Democrats have a plan to tax billionaires and giant corporations with the goal of reducing

the national debt by $3 trillion over the next 10 years.

Sounds like a lot of money.
