All right, here we go. Welcome in, everyone, to this week's edition of the Deer Hunter podcast Friday, February 27th.

That's good. Get out of here, February. Nobody needs you. Move us on to spring and summer and then ultimately to the fall.

February 27th and you are in the studio. I'm joined this week by my great friend, Elvis Cavich. I've had the honor to get to know Alvin over the course of the last decade.

He got introduced to me through some mutual friends.

And we had a deer camp in the area where Alvin and his friends spent a lot of time, northern Michigan.

And we've just been fortunate to build on that relationship here over the course of the last decade.

We get into a whole bunch of stuff here this week, but Alvin's one of the best deer hunters that I know personally, honestly.

Like, I would put him in that mix.

Maybe he doesn't have the social media hype and he doesn't do the whole podcast

circuit. But you could stack, you could put him at a hunt camp with any and everybody else

that you could possibly think of and I would bet my money on him. That's him and his crew of guys consistently kill big

deer where people don't consistently kill big deer. They're just a notch above. And it was an honor
