1:04.0 | I am doing all right. Thanks a lot for asking. Yeah, I'm excited to introduce this conversation we had with former police chief Lou Barry and he is a current private investigator. |
1:14.0 | And he's newly on the board of private investigations for the Missing along with us Lance. |
1:20.0 | And private investigations for the Missing is a nonprofit organization that provides investigative services for loved ones of missing people. |

1:36.0 | And we had these monthly board meetings where Lou will join. And when he was asked to formally join the board, I was a little surprised because I was like he's always here. |
1:45.0 | I thought he was on the board because he was just such a staple in this nonprofit that it was hard to imagine that he was ever not on the board. |
1:53.0 | So we really welcomed him officially. And the information that he brings during these board meetings is primarily case updates and the case updates that come to PIs for the Missing that have been resolved. |

2:08.0 | We don't have a case that we get into a missing person story that we talk about for 45 minutes to an hour. |
2:14.0 | And then follow up and it's and it's solved, you know, like quote solved. |
2:20.0 | We can't do that. There are so many of them that have had a resolution. |
2:24.0 | And we just wanted to get Lou on to speak in the most general terms possible without giving up any privacy or affecting any investigation. |
2:33.0 | These updates on on the number of cases that have come to PIs for the Missing table and and have had some form of resolution. |
2:42.0 | Yeah, so we speak about the ones that have been resolved. And as you say, yeah, we speak in generalities about those because those are ones that really didn't go to the media. |
2:52.0 | They were they were cases missing persons cases that were resolved before we ever did a podcast about them. |
2:59.0 | That is one of the things we want to discuss here in this conversation with Lou. |
3:02.0 | But there's other cases that are being submitted to PIs for the missing that haven't been resolved. |
