But, hey, as long as it drops on or around. It's our holiday episode. January 1st. Then we're A-OK. We're still basically in the holiday season. I mean, look, some of us felt a little burnt out.

Some of us just wanted to watch movies not for a goddamn podcast.

Oh, I was so hot.

I know, I know.

You're like an Atlas holding up the world, which is watching lethal weapon and the long kiss good night.

I tell you, I had to walk two feet in the snow to get to my workplace today to watch.

Oh, yeah, yeah.

The workplace, yeah, we have important cinema club studios, which is a whole house that we rent out.

That is not true.

Just look at our listener numbers.

All right, so we decide. I mean, maybe people are listening to this and they're going back in the past. And it's like, what, they have millions of listeners. I actually think it's great that we've been at that, at this for close to a decade. And we are still. As my wife has said, you guys should be more popular. And I was like, I agree.

Do you remember, I think in the first six months of doing this podcast, and we'll get to the topic in a sec, but I just want to reminisce for a bit. In this first six months, when we were getting about 150 listens per episode, we're like, who are these people? We were saying, and then you remember, you remember there was a time when you said to me, we were going to dinner and you said, wouldn't it be nice if you just woke up one day and there were a thousand listeners?

I don't remember saying that, but I remember. And I thought, yeah, that would be nice. How do you get a thousand listeners? And anyway, we eventually did. And now there are multiple thousands. Yeah, but that's it. And now we're thinking, wouldn't it be great to have like a million? Yep, it would. But you know what? It's not about quantity. It's about quality of listener.

And everybody listening. That's it. And now we're thinking, wouldn't it be great to have like a million? Yep, it would. But you know what?

It's about quality of listener. And everybody listening, you're the best kind of listener that we could get. Not big enough that we have our own Reddit where any podcast I listen to. That would be terrifying. People are just like, I hate the Reddit. They're awful. And our Discord, everybody in there, you guys rock.
