excited to be talking with you about this topic it feels like it's been a long time

coming yeah I guess longer for you than for me.

Yeah, so this episode we thought we'd kind of talk about how the Mac at work book came into existence and a lot of people have asked me questions about it so we're going to split the

podcast up into just kind of the the business end of it of how I got I talked somebody

into let me write a book and then the process of physically writing the book.

Well let's let's back up I guess for anybody who doesn't know first and foremost you

have written a book and it's it's due to be released a couple of days after this

podcast is released right? Yeah yeah it's as we record this is already

available in the Kindle store which is kind of a funny story behind that I'll tell you about later.

And it will be in the I Bookstore.

It's in Amazon already, but it'll be shipping in mid-January, and it'll be in Barnes and Noble

and other, you you know bookstores around the 17th.

Why have you always aspired to write a book?

What I mean what made you just wake up and decide one day that you didn't have enough things to do in your life already?

Yeah, it's, it really wasn't a plan.

I have thought about writing books before I've written a lot of fiction stuff just for fun but I've never really

taken it that seriously and this was just kind of a fortuitous series of events

I went and spoke in two thousand a March 2009 I went to Chicago and there was all these lawyers walking around with

Max but they had their software I'd say well let me see what you're running and they were
